ProQuest "Medical Evidence Matters" now available for a trial! (May 26, 2009)
"Medical Evidence Matters", the new EBM support database, is now added to the ProQuest's medical databases. Experts in respective areas gathered information to prepare the abstracts. This enables users to search the best method of treatment with a very easy operation from items like "disease name", "method of treatment", and "clinical results".
For the search method, click on "Medical Evidence Matters" on a database selection window that can be accessed from a "hyperlink" of "Selected Database" provided at left upper corner of ProQuest Search window （http://proquest.umi.com/login?ts=0）.
It is possible to search in parallel with PubMed for results. They will be classified into graphs and tables by RCR, ClinicalTrial, etc. The abstracts of "Medical Evidence Matters" are designed for users to grasp the content in a shorter time than reading the body sentences thanks to displaying the thesis data in graphics and in process conditions.

CINAHL, a database that we have been contracting, is shifted under EBSCO to become more user-friendly.
CINAHL, a fundamental database on a nursing science, includes journal articles related to a nursing science and overall health. Not only journals it offers, but also total scripts of legal cases, data of pharmaceutical products, method of research and measurement are posted. Furthermore it is also possible to make searches on literature that 1,200 materials cited.
